Hi friends,
I hope you have already smashed, or are currently smashing, your exams.
Please be kind to yourself through thus period. Exam season can be a lot, and you are all very brave for sitting through it and dealing with the pressure that comes with it.
If things are getting difficult, or you are facing any extenuating circumstances, please remember support is there.
Our SU Advice Centre can help guide you around mitigating circumstances and what options may be available to you. May the universe be by your side, best of luck and god speed.
It was also so good to see so many of you at our Annual All Member Meeting. Having students in the room, asking questions and being part of the SU’s governance and democratic life is exactly what this should be about, so thank you to everyone who came along and took part.
Looking ahead, there are a few important things coming up.
The All Student Vote (ASV) opens next week, where you will be able to vote on whether Warwick SU should lobby the University to take a position on AI (visit below for more detail).
Neurodiversity Day (which will bring my friends back on campus 🦙) is also coming up, so please save the date for 27th May.
Also if you are a postgraduate taught student, please do fill out the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey, as your feedback really does matter and helps shape what changes we can push for even if they don’t impact you, it’ll help improve things for those following in your footsteps.
Take care of yourselves, keep going, and we are cheering you on.
Yours,
Alijah Taha
President
