It's that time of the year again...it's the Annual All-Day Latin Dance Festival & Salsa Ball!

What? Birmingham Salsa Ball
Where? Birmingham University (but with coach pickups at campus and Leamington)
When? 8th February
Why? Because you get a whole day of salsa classes and a legendary black-tie ball, all with your favourite people!!

There will be classes in salsa, bachata, reggaeton, cha-cha, kizomba, rueda and more, for beginner to advanced level! We also have two performance teams competing in the inter-university competition, so come and show your support!!

The evening ends in the Great Hall with the famous salsa ball! During the ball there will be performances from amazing international performers and obviously some crazy line ups!

This event has been run for many years now, and every year it has got bigger, so don’t miss out!!

DRESS:
For the daytime classes, we recommend you wear something you’ll feel comfortable dancing in for a few hours. You’ll also want to wear some comfy shoes for the workshops as heels all day = sore feet!

For the evening for the ball, it is a black tie event with an optional theme of black and white! Generally, we wear the kind of thing you’d normally wear to a ball (nice shirts/suits, dresses etc.) but feel free to get creative with the theme if you wish. Also think of the demands of dancing for 5 hours when choosing your outfit...you will get rather warm!

FOOD:
It is an all day event so obviously food will be on your mind. There are a number of outlets on the Birmingham University campus for food, but you are also welcome to bring your own packed lunches.

TRANSPORT AND TICKETS:
We will be organising a coach there and back, with pick ups at leam and campus, so that we can all go up together, times to be confirmed. Transport is included in the cost of the ticket!

Any questions, send the page a message, or ask one of the exec.

Salsa love xoxo
