Experience the best of East Asia across three incredible cities: Guangzhou, Seoul, and Beijing. From ancient temples and imperial palaces to vibrant street markets and the Great Wall of China, this 10-day adventure covers it all.

We'll host an info night in MS0.2 from 6PM on Thursday, 11th December. In addition to the key info here, we'll talk about trip highlights, how TravelSoc trips are structured, and what we'd suggest for day trips. We'll end the night with kahoot and games, with some free Korean/Chinese snacks! It'll be a great chance to meet others interested in coming.

Day 1 (Sat, 21st Mar): Departure from London

⚠️ Important: Please ensure your passport is valid, and has an expiry date of at least 6 months before our entry into Beijing (after June 27th, 2026). Notify the exec if your passport must be renewed.

Q&A

Is travel insurance necessary?

No, but we strongly recommend you have a policy to protect against thefts, losses, medical emergencies, etc.

Can I come with a friend?

Yes, you can buy two tickets per account, one for you and one for your friend.

How fast do tickets sell out?

Are refunds and name exchanges allowed?

No. We will not be able to process refunds or name exchanges, so please be sure you're available for these dates before booking.

Are TravelSoc trips chill or intense?

We like to give people the flexibility to go at their pace. Plenty of free time is allocated, and we might split into exec-lead groups depending on the preferences of people.

How do I know who else is coming?

Come to the info night on Thursday, 11th December - it'll be a great chance to meet others interested in coming.

Can I travel with a medical condition?

Yes, if you'll be able to participate in group activities (e.g. walking around the city). Please flag any allergies/medical conditions to the exec and we'll try our best to accommodate to you (in terms of accommodation allocation, restaurant bookings, etc.) Suitability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

What if I can't catch this trip?

That's fine! We've got more trips lined up this year, keep coming to TravelSoc events and we'll keep you in the loop for those!
