Please come to the info night if you're interested!

Q&A

Is travel insurance necessary?

No, but we strongly recommend you have a policy to protect against thefts, losses, etc..

Can I come with a friend?

Yes, you can buy two tickets per account, one for you and one for your friend. We might increase from the 2-cap in future trips.

How fast do tickets sell out?

For Albania and Morocco, tickets sold out within 5 minutes of opening. To ensure you can secure a ticket, we've reserved 15 tickets for our members. In addition, they get the £10 membership fee back immediately when coming on a trip :) We strongly recommend picking one up in case! Buy a membership here: Warwick Travel Society Membership

Are refunds and name exchanges allowed?

No. We will not be able to process refunds or name exchanges, so please be sure you're available for these dates before booking.

Are TravelSoc trips chill or intense?

We like to give people the flexibility to go at their pace. Plenty of free time is allocated, and we might split into exec-lead groups depending on the preferences of people.

How do I know who else is coming?

We'll host a pre-trip social ~2 weeks before the trip (around w.c. 26th Oct) to give a chance for everyone to meet each other, so it won't feel like you're travelling with strangers when it comes to the date.

Can I travel with a medical condition?

Yes, if you'll be able to participate in group activities (e.g. walking around the city). Please flag any allergies/medical conditions to the exec and we'll try our best to accommodate to you (in terms of accommodation allocation, restraurant bookings, etc...) Suitability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

What are the VISA requirements for Czechia?

Refer to this: Visa policy of the Schengen Area - Wikipedia TLDR: If you hold a UK/EU passport, it's VISA-free. If you have obtained a Schengen tourist VISA, please notify the exec after your booking has been confirmed.

What if I can't catch this trip?

That's fine! We've got at least 4 more trips lined up this year, keep coming to TravelSoc events and we'll keep you in the loop for those!
