Latin American Wine Tasting

The Warwick Wine & Oenology Society is thrilled to partner with the Warwick Latin American Society for a brilliant evening exploring the vibrant and diverse world of Latin American wines.

Join us as take a journey from the cool Pacific coastline of Chile to the high-altitude vineyards of the Andes. This is more than just a wine tasting, it's a social and cultural experience designed for learning, appreciation, and discovery.

What to Expect:
We will be serving a selection of 4 different wines, carefully chosen to showcase the unique characteristics of Latin America. You will have the chance to:

• Start with a classic Chilean white. It’s an aromatic style that typically shows citrus flavours.
• Next, we’ll try a light rosé with more delicate red berry flavours.
• Then, we’ll move on to the reds. We're planning to pour two different grapes side-by-side, so you can compare a softer, smoother style against a stronger one with blackcurrant aromas.

Throughout the evening, our exec members will be guiding you. They'll share insights into the different grape varieties, the unique geography of the winemaking regions, and the wine characteristics to look for in your glass.
This is the perfect opportunity to meet new people from both societies, deepen your appreciation for wine, and discover some new tastes in a friendly atmosphere.
