The latest film adaptation from the author-phenomenon Colleen Hoover (responsible for It Ends With Us), Reminders of Him is sure to be the biggest tear-jerker WSC has to offer this term. Recently released from prison after being convicted for the death of her boyfriend, Kenna faces hostility and rejection from virtually everyone as she attempts to visit and reconnect with her daughter. That is, apart from former NFL player turned bar owner, Ledger (also her late boyfriend’s best friend) with whom an unexpected secret romance develops. With drama and romance guaranteed in spades and electric chemistry between Maika Monroe and Tyriq Withers, this is the perfect film to watch with a few friends and bask in the glorious melodrama. [Harvey Lister]
