Come see Spartacus presented with stunning 4K Laser Projection on the big screen in L3!

Ever wondered what would have happened if Stanley Kubrick made a sweeping historical epic a la Ridley Scott’s Gladiator? His grand 1960 film Spartacus is the result. It follows the huge journey of Thracian Spartacus, raised a slave and made into a gladiator, who turns on the Roman Empire to lead an army of other slaves in rebellion against the Empire and return them all home. At once a grand spectacular showstopper, the likes of which we do not see anymore, and also an intimate character study told against a vast canvas, this is essential big screen viewing. Kubrick’s films are always a sight and sound to behold on the big screen and this one is absolutely no different. What is even more special is that we are showing it on an original release dye-transfer Technicolor 35mm print! These prints are extremely rarely played, and offer a level of rich colour and depth you cannot begin to comprehend until you see them up on the big screen.
