We will be hosting our BUCS Badminton Team Trials on Monday 5th October in the Sports Hub. 

For Men's/Open players, the trials will take place between 8:00-10:00pm (Zone B for first hour then Zones B and C for 2nd hour). For Women/Non-Binary players, the trials will take place between 9:00-10:00pm in Zone A. 

The trials will consist of 2 rounds, buying one ticket will cover both rounds if you get through. Please also book onto the 20:00-22:00 session on the Warwick Sports app to get through the barriers at the Sports Hub.

We have 4 men's teams and 3 women's teams so trials will be highly competitive. Each player will be given the chance to warm up on court for 2 minutes, before playing half-court matches against different players. Please note that due to large numbers, you may be sent home within the first hour of trials/having played minimum 2 matches.

Players joining the team will be expected to commit to playing in BUCS leagues on Wednesday afternoons against other universities, attend a weekly match play session and may attend a weekly training session.

This trial is only open to students at the University of Warwick. We will provide shuttles, and rackets if needed.
