Sports Colours 2021

Unfortunately this year, we've taken the difficult decision to not run our usual Sports Awards because there's been so little sport to take part in! However, we are still keen to celebrate all that our students have contributed to sport over their time at Warwick so will be awarding and celebrating Club and Full Colours. Club Colours are awarded to individuals who have gone above and beyond for their clubs throughout their time at university, and Full Colours are awarded to individuals who have competed at an international level. A full criteria for the awards can be read on the nominations page. These awards are your chance to get your members recognised for the amazing things they have achieved, so get those nominations in!

This survey is no longer available.
Full Colours

How to nominate: Online nomination (max. 250 words)

Things to think about:

To qualify for the award of Full Colours, individuals need to have met at least one or more of the following criteria in this academic year (please note that this does not guarantee an award):

  • Competed at Full Senior International Representative Level (e.g. Senior England Squad)
  • Awarded a Top 3 Medal Finish in an individual BUCS Competition
  • If relevant, individuals have to be representing the Warwick 1st team in their chosen sport
  • Awarded a Top 3 Medal Finish in a Junior/Age Group European/World Championship
  • Must be competing in the top level/tier of chosen sport
  • For competitions outside of BUCS, full details of competition must be listed (i.e. number of clubs/universities involved in competition, number of individuals in competition, how this fits into the NGB performance pathway)
  • Consideration will also be given to achievements of a similar standard to the above
