Salary

£17,757.00 - £20,477.00 The salary is per annum pro rata.

Hours

Full Time – 36.5 hours per week for 40 weeks of the year (0.9FTE). Some weekend and evening working may be required from time to time for special events

Warwick SU is looking for a key addition to its staff team following an exciting review of its membership services portfolio.

 

You will support officers and members in developing and leading campaigns that are relevant to students studying in higher education. You will advise and support student campaigning societies and help maximise the effectiveness of the Students’ Union’s own campaigning activity

 

You will be responsible for supporting elected officers in keeping appraised of policy affecting students on a national and local level, conducting research with the student body where required and providing briefing papers

 

The Students’ Union is committed to ensure high quality involvement experiences for students in higher education and this role will be crucial in supporting this.

 

In order to succeed, you must have demonstrable knowledge of successful campaigning techniques and impact assessment, a good understanding of current issues facing students in HE as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.  You must also possess excellent planning and analytical skills.
