Food & Beverage Assistants - Dirty Duck

We are looking to hire passionate & enthusiastic people for The Dirty Duck - a modern twist on the traditional pub. You will prepare, display and serve food and beverages to high standards. Your role will be to help with the preparation and service of food and drink ensuring high standards of customer care at all times. Please note; previous bar work experience is essential. Please refer to Job Description and Person Specification for further information.

Hours:
You are expected to work an average of 2 shifts (daytime, evening & weekends - average of 10 hours) throughout the three ten weeks of term, however we cannot guarantee these hours.

An assessment centre will be held on Tuesday 30th September from 10.00am to 11.30am. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND THIS ASSESSMENT IF SHORTLISTED. You must bring the necessary ID documents to the assessment as required by the Asylum and Immigration Act.

Reception Assistants

This role is to provide assistance and information to students and visitors. To operate Union Reception services, including the switchboard (training provided) and other office duties, providing a high standard of customer care at all times. Street Team members are employed by the Marketing department to distribute promotional materials, support the marketing’s departmental activities, assist with the set up and take down of the Union’s indoor market stalls and act as an Ambassador for the Union in both Membership and Commercial Services.
