Salary

Salary Range starting at £20,327 per annum

Hours

A minimum of 36.5 hours per week. Flexibility of working hours is reasonably required from time to time to meet the requirements of the post. This includes occasional evenings and weekends.

Interview

Interviews will be held on Monday 6th February 2012. You must be available to attend on this day if successfully shortlisted.

Details

Warwick SU requires a professional, systematic, customer focused IT Technician.

You must be a proficient trouble shooter, with excellent Windows XP and Server 2008 skills.  You will also have experience of supporting users within a Windows Server and Active Directory environment.  In addition, you should have experience of configuring and reinstalling PC hardware, installing and upgrading software, and an awareness of network security and data protection principles. 

This role requires excellent communication skills both verbally and written and good planning and organisation skills.  You will work to tight deadlines and you will be an excellent problem solver, with the ability to adapt your communication skills based on your audience, in order to deliver an inclusive solution-focused support function to our internal customers.
