The inaugural Warwick Universities Summit will see student leaders, academics and experts from across the world coming together to examine the future of higher education and produce a policy document to be presented to the G8 Universities Summit in the summer of 2013.
This year's theme focuses on universities in 2030, and will see leading academics and experts, organisations, and international student leaders examine the key issues that the higher education sector faces today. These include questions on funding and widening access, and what the value of the global public university should be in a rapidly developing world where the threat of international competition stands firm as a guarantor of change within the sector.
Entirely student-run, the summit will have panels, discussions, individual speaker talks, seminars and fringe events taking place throughout the day. It promises to be an exciting and insightful event, followed by our evening wine reception with our international student leaders.
Ticket price: FREE (limited number including wine reception with international delegates)
Date: 9th March
Time: 9am-5.30pm. Wine Reception 6pm-7pm.
