Our student-run Sports Clubs are supported and administered by SU Student Activities staff. Clubs also benefit from support from Warwick Sport; the heart of sport, fitness and an active lifestyle at the University of Warwick. Warwick Sport provides Sports Clubs with state-of-the-art sport and fitness facilities, including the new Sport & Wellness Hub which opened in Spring 2019. You can then join as many clubs as you like! Click here to view all Sports Clubs.
Once you’ve decided what clubs you’d like to become a member of, you will need to purchase either the on-campus Warwick Sport Club Pass (£56.50) or off-campus Warwick Sport Club Pass (£27.50).
The Club Pass will enable you access facilities for training and matches, as well as development opportunities and personalised support from the dedicated Warwick Sport Club Development team.
You will also need to become a member of the SU’s Sports Federation. A large proportion of this £32 membership fee goes directly to Sports Clubs, while the rest pays for things like insurance, staff support and admin costs.
Societies are also supported and administered by the SU – and, as such, there is a £19 annual charge to join the Societies Federation (£12 for Postgraduates) to help us provide all the funding and infrastructure required. This helps to provide insurance for society activities and staff support for execs, as well as contributing to the annual budget allocated to each society.
Once you’ve paid the SU’s Societies Federation membership fee, you can join as many societies as you like – most usually charge around £3 per year for membership, though some are free and several are exempt from the Societies Federation fee. Click here to view all Societies.
