Transport

In order to be able to drive any of the minibuses, here is what you need to do.

To drive a car, you will need to have a driver's licence and a driver's card. You can apply for a driver's card here; https://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/estates/service_centre/vehicle_hire/student_drivers

To drive a 9-seater, you will need to attend a safety lecture, be at least 19 years of age, have a clean licence of two years and complete an assessment for the vehicle.

To drive a minibus (12-17 seater), you will need to attend a safety lecture, be at least 21 years of age, have a clean licence of two years and complete an assessment for the vehicle. If you do this assessment, you will not need to complete an assessment for the 9-seater as you will be covered.

4.30-6pm, Meeting Room 1, SUHQ (capcity 20 only)

  • Thursday 22nd November
  • Friday 23rd November

 

Private Vehicle Registration Form - if you want to use your own car for use of your club, you will have to register your car with a copy of your insurance.

Coach Hire Transport Hire Form - If you are requring an externally driven coach/minibus to take your club to your destination.

Self Drive Transport Hire Form - If you need a van, car or minibus for hire.

Mileage Form - if you are driving a personal vehicle, this can be attached to a money request form as evidence to claim fuel costs.
