In order to be able to drive any of the minibuses, here is what you need to do.
To drive a car, you will need to have a driver's licence and a driver's card. You can apply for a driver's card by clicking here.
To drive a 9-seater, you will need to attend a safety lecture, be at least 19 years of age, have a clean licence of two years and complete an assessment for the vehicle.
To drive a minibus (15 seater), you will need to attend a safety lecture, be at least 21 years of age, have a clean licence of two years and complete an assessment for the vehicle. If you do this assessment, you will not need to complete an assessment for the 9-seater as you will be covered.

If you are looking to book transport, please note the timelines below:
Wednesday @ 12pm is the deadline for transport on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Friday @ 12pm is the deadline for transport on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
The Estates Department at Warwick University authorise and issue the drivers cards. You will need to contact them directly for information relating to this.

Thursday 10th October - 16:30 to 18:00 - Meeting Room 1 in the SU
Thursday 24th October - 16:30 to 18:00 - Meeting Room 1 in the SU

Minibus Driving Assessments
9-seater and 15-seater assessments available - book here (you must also attend the Safety Lecture).
IMPORTANT: If you book onto an assessment and don't attend, you or your club/society will be charged a £25 fee.
Monday 21st October to Thursday 24th October inclusive (David Smith) – one assessment at 08:30, 09:30, 10:30, 11:30, 13:15 and 14:15
Monday 28th October to Thursday 31st October inclusive (Jony Sandhu) – one assessment at 08:30, 09:30, 10:30, 11:30, 13:15 and 14:15
Monday 4th November to Thursday 7th November inclusive (David Smith & Jony Sandhu) – one assessment at 08:30, 09:30, 10:30, 11:30, 13:15 and 14:15
Tuesday 3rd December - 6 assessments between 08:30 and 16:30

If there is a crash or any accidents, all drivers should report the accident direct to:

Should an accident occur on no account should liability be admitted. If blame is admitted this could invalidate the University of Warwick Motor Insurance Policy.
All drivers of University or hired vehicles must be aware that failure to report an accident promptly may entitle insurers to repudiate the claim.
Please do this as soon as you can once something happens and inform the Students' Union.
