Following yesterday’s decision by the Government to delay the removal of the remaining Covid restrictions by four weeks, our POP! and Skool Dayz events scheduled for weeks 9 and 10 are unfortunately no longer able to go ahead.
Whilst we are incredibly disappointed that we are unable to run these events, and know how much so many of you wanted to party out the end of the year with Disco Dave, we have no choice but to do the right thing and adhere to Government guidance.
There is still plenty happening here at the SU that you can get involved with, including our #MIDWEEKMAYHEM weekly POP! Livestreams, which are running until the end of term with a new theme every week! We also have the Liberation Conference taking place this weekend, Campus Pride events running throughout this month, and Summer of Sport events until the end of term. Be sure to check out all that’s happening here.
Thank you once again for your support and understanding. Our Venues team have really enjoyed talking to so many of you as the guidance has evolved, and they are just as gutted as you that the events couldn’t happen in the end.
