**It's Week 8! Weekly update from your Full-time Officers**

Your Full-time Officers have been working hard to continue representing students’ academic interests over the last week. Here's what the team has been up to and what they have achieved:

?? What we’ve been up to this week

  • Spring Elections!
  • Continuing to push for a solution for students who can’t afford or access appropriate technology.
  • Working with the University to ensure Term 3 exams and assessments are as fair and accessible as possible. The University have now decided to allow departments to choose the most suitable exam time frame and period to match their assessment methods.
  • Pushing for more study space availability off-campus, leading to the formation of a working group to investigate Leamington study space options.
  • Sports Federation Fee review – consultation has begun with clubs to a potential restructure of club membership costs.
  • Creating a timetable for club training in Term 3 and starting the process for organising club charity tournaments!
  • Going through new society applications and interviewing them
  • Campaign for getting people involved in Society execs
  • Meet with societies worried about filling their execs

?? What we’ve achieved/won this week

  • Lobbied for the reopening of the Library – it will be reopening on 8th March!
  • Successfully received commitment that education for sustainable development will form part of the next curriculum review.
  • Received commitment that the University will investigate options surrounding publication of module feedback.
  • Successfully lobbied for the reopening of a designated IT Support Fund – although in a different form to the previous fund.
  • A long-term commitment to supporting students with purchasing IT equipment as part of a review of the Hardship Fund process and inclusion of a laptop/computer as an essential course material.
  • Pushed for students who are temporarily withdrawn to be able to access Wellbeing Support Services.
  • Initiated conversations surrounding the process followed when international students have unpaid tuition fees, leading to a more compassionate process and involvement of personal and senior tutors ahead of taking immigration-related action.
  • An extension of the on-campus rent waiver.
  • Launched our partnership with LVL, an online wellbeing and workout platform. Warwick Students can sign up for free with the code WARWICKUNI2021.
