Details
Warwick Students’ Union prides itself on being innovative and inclusive in its provision of services for all of its 20,000+ members. Postgraduate students make up almost 40% of the student population at Warwick and are an extremely diverse audience with a wide variety of needs.
Postgraduate Engagement is a key organisational priority and this new position has been designed to build a greater understanding of our Postgraduate students and what they really want of their Students’ Union. You will be required to utilise a broad range of market research and insight skills in and to take a lead on:
- mining the data that we and other stakeholders already hold on levels of PG engagement;
- gathering data / insight from a range of third parties that could help us in building a picture of what different groups of PG students would like from the SU;
- identifying any new direct data / insight gathering that could be useful as the project progresses;
- compiling data / analysis of the data / identifying themes and developing an outline report.
Once this insight has been established, we will then move to the next phase of work, which will look at developing strategies for supporting Postgraduate Engagement moving forward.
In return you will receive continual support and encouragement and have the opportunity to work on a project that will make a real difference to our members. If you feel that you have the skills and aptitude to help us continue to understand this audience in more detail, then this could be the ideal project role.
Please also enclose a short covering letter highlighting your suitability for this role.
