Salary
£70,198.00 - £75,211.00
Hours
A minimum of 36.5 per week. Flexibility of working hours is reasonably required from time to time to meet the requirements of the post. This will include some evenings and weekends. Overtime will not be paid.

The two day assessment process will be held on 10th and 11th June 2008, you will need to be available for both days.

The University of Warwick Students’ Union has recently seen its General Manager take on the prestigious role of Chief Executive of a major National Charity following 6 highly successful years at the helm of this, one of the most innovative Students’ Unions in the country.
We are therefore seeking a highly talented, visionary individual to elevate us further; seeing us through the challenges presented by our building redevelopment and organisational repositioning.
You are an energetic and experienced commercial operator; a leader committed to motivating teams through coaching, supporting and developing skills. You have a strong understanding of charity governance and are committed to supporting and advising trustees in their decision making.
You will have at least 5 years in a position with significant strategic management and budget responsibility in a customer focused not for profit environment, with demonstrable capabilities in managing large change programmes and diverse structures.
You will have a strong background in business operations, financial probity and ideally demonstrable experience of operating in the licensed trade or hospitality industry.
You will be skilled in developing significant working relationships with key partners that will include senior University figures, local authorities and community bodies.
Experience in making applications for funding would be a distinct advantage.

It will be your role to achieve the organisation’s recently launched strategy.
