Come see Wes Anderson Filmszz presented with 4K Laser projection on the big screen in L3!

Approximate start times: 18:45: Fantastic Mr Fox, 20:30: Moonrise Kingdom, and 22:20: Grand Budapest Hotel.

I don’t think there’s a better way to spend your Saturday night than sitting down to enjoy the wacky worlds of Wes Anderson. With films equally as light-hearted as they are entertaining, it seems like an easy choice to me. Start your evening here by saying hello to the Fantastic Mr. Fox, and enjoy this charmingly stop-motion animated story about cunning, family, and how to get away with stealing from a farmer. If you didn’t watch this one as a kid, it’s well worth the watch, or indeed, a re-visit down nostalgia lane.

Next up, it’s Moonrise Kingdom, the perfect middle point of the three films. It’s a coming-of-age tale, telling the story of two isolated peers (one, an orphan boy, the other, an isolate girl), running away together from their respective summer camps. These misfits find their own way together in what ends up being a truly heart-warming story.

Rounding off the night is The Grand Budapest Hotel. This film is a wild ride from start to finish, and it’ll have you laughing on the edge of your seat. The hotel concierge and his lobby boy end up embroiled in a plot to chase a renaissance painting, which ends up taking them around ‘Europe’ as well as the in-world fictional country that the Hotel itself is in: Zubrowka. The fast-paced fun will definitely keep you engrossed in the film, even with having watched two more beforehand.
