With Spider-Man's identity now revealed, Peter asks Doctor Strange for help. When a spell goes wrong, dangerous foes from other worlds start to appear, forcing Peter to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
Perhaps one of the most anticipated Marvel films to be released since Avengers Endgame, this final installment in Tom Holland’s series portrayal of Spider-Man does not disappoint, even for the most avid Marvel fans. The film is undoubtedly fan service and sees the return of recognisable faces, both heroes and villains alike. The humour in NWH is fantastic, as well, whilst still holding an emotional weight in the critical moments. Personally, I experienced the full series of emotions whilst watching NWH, one minute I was laughing, the next I was crying! Some may say it relies too frequently on nostalgia and has some pacing issues, yet even at 2 hours 28 minutes long the film’s run time flies by in a flurry of action, unbridled emotion, fantastic acting and establishing Phase 4 of Marvel.
