“THE VENUE”

This is going to be the four roomed jewel in our crown. It’s a triple height structure specifically designed to be as flexible as possible and to give Warwick Students’ Union the stage and performance space that it deserves. As with all things in the rebuild it will be hugely more flexible than what we have now. Well be able to run events in everyone of these rooms separately or join the whole thing together, or join parts of it together.

Main Performance Area

- A professional performance area with everything needed to put on the biggest and best bands around
- A crowd area with decent lines of sight throughout the room
- A dance floor big enough to hold more than 8 people and a Westershire pony
- Flexible enough to incorporate both live bands and biggest dance acts and DJs
- There’s going to be significant investment in the back of house area and facilities as well. This will mean that bigger acts are more likely to play here as our reputation increases as a home of live music
- We’ll have about a 1400 capacity

Upstairs Club

- Separate venue connected to the downstairs club; able to be separated if needed or combined to form one massive night club
- Full bar and facilities
- Soundproofed from downstairs so that two nights do not impact on each other
- Around about 600 capacity

Chill-out Area

- Part of the upstairs club but again able to be separated if needed this will provide a space for those who want to get away from the main action of the night
- As it is separable it will also be able to be used for a variety of events
- Around 100 capacity

The Bar

- A triple ceiling “feature bar” this will be where everyone is going to grab their favourite beverages
- As tall as the building and with a glazed roof to top it off there’ll be no mistaking where the watering hole is
- Classily kitted out and with some top-notch design and fittings
- Fully stocked with the widest selection of beers, bottles, soft drinks and spirits this side of the Danube you’re sure to find something you fancy
- Around 300 capacity
