The Terrace Bar

 

This is going to be a large, airy, light, classy, and sophisticated bar with premium views looking out over the Piazza. Offering everything from light bites during the day to glasses of wine with friends in the evening to a wide selection of speciality beers and lagers this is going to be a place to come out before you head down to have a dance in the main club.

 

The terrace will offer space for people to sit outside in the warmer months, whether it be for a light supper or a couple of drinks. This is very much integral to our plans to encourage people who are on campus over the holidays to come and enjoy the Union. Nothing attracts people like people and with the swanky terrace and glass fronted island bar we will get conference guests and the like to come in and spend some time in the Union.

 

This is a premier space whether you are eating, drinking, meeting, revising or just chilling, you’ll be welcome and you’ll find this pace the most relaxing and versatile space there is.

 

 

The Piazza Cafe

 

A cool, laid-back coffee bar serving up grab and go food during the day and open late for those night-owls who want to be able to sit in a comfy sofa with a good book or discussing the various merits of the socialist theocracy in Eastern Europe. We’ll also have sandwiches and healthy juices available throughout for those of you who fancy a little less of a caffeine hit.
