We are a friendly bunch of people who enjoy performing and socialising together. We have no scary auditions and we welcome players of all abilities!

The Helen Martin Studio, Butterworth Hall and Ensemble room can all be found within the arts centre.
We play your usual collection of Wind Orchestra related music: TV soundtracks, musicals, highlights from your favourite film scores and of course more classical arrangements.
We perform several concerts each year both on and off campus, including our annual attempt at the National Concert Band Festival where in 2011 we managed to win the top platinum award! Not too bad for a non-auditioned band!
We love to socialise with trips to the pub after every rehearsal, various curry socials and of course pub golf. Our fabulous exec also organise trips to the west end every year, mini-tours and of course a bi-annual tour to Europe. In summer 2011 we ended up in Budapest for an amazing week of sight seeing and socialising.
We work hard but have a great time, so if you enjoy music and want to get to know a fantastic bunch of people, Wind Orchestra is for you!
