VIETNAMESE SOCIETY
Five years of running, VietSoc Warwick has endeavoured to create a friendly community, a fun and relaxed playground for Vietnamese students and international friends who love to learn more of the Vietnamese exotic culture.
We will give you loads of opportunities to explore Vietnamese traditions through our various events like TET (Lunar New Year) and the Vietnamese night. VNN is always one of our biggest event of the year, and this year, we challenge ourselves to make it even bigger, so JOIN US, DISCOVER YOUR INNER TALENTS AND BE PART OF THE FABULOUS SHOW.
Christmas and Easter long, lazy holidays are best spent together with others! We'll organize trips and socials to make sure you keep "lonely" out of your dictionary!

Up-coming events:
Week 1
2th October (Friday) Welcome Event: We will have an introductory social and there you will be able to meet with all Vietsoc members from the last year and this year on going. (7pm-9pm at 3 Freeburn Causeway, CV4 8FP, if you are not sure where it is, cme to Tesco at 6.30pm and we will be there!! ^^)
Week 2:
5th October (Monday) Societies' Fair in the Union: We will have a stall in TES - Tocil field (from 10am - 4pm) so come and have a look! There you will be able to see all our plans for this year and also be able to JOIN our society! :)
Recruitment:
We are looking for 2 enthusiastic new members, one of whom will perform the duties of Public Relations position, and the other will be our Event Organiser Assisstant. Preferably we would like those positions to belong to Year 1 students. Recruitment will take place in Week 2.
Every year, Vietnamese society's biggest and most-fun event is the VIETNAMESE NIGHT. The Night is composed of various performances such as traditional dances, songs and a theatrical play. Of course, we need YOU to make this Night come true!!! :) In Week 2 we will start rehearsing and if you are interested please let us know and we will assign you a role. This is not an ART contest, everyone is welcome to join us. The work is not just on stage, back-stage is very busy too! :)
