Here are the guidelines for getting a stall outside Union North:
1. Permission to set up a stall outside Union North must be sought from the Societies & Student Development Officer (ssdo@sunion.warwick.ac.uk)
2. If a table is required, this must be requested from Facilities & Safety by emailing Helen at hkendrick@sunion.warwick.ac.uk. The person(s) collecting the table must leave their Student ID card at reception when collecting the table. This will be returned when the table is returned. A fine of £40 will have to be imposed if the table is damaged or not returned.
3. A power supply is available from the grey box on the wall to the left of the Union North entrance as you exit. No power outlets within the Students’ Union are to be used. Cables must be suitably placed to avoid a trip hazard, and although the area is partially under cover, electrical equipment shouldn't be used in wet weather.
Note: the power supply is currently out of order, and awaiting a replacement. You will not be able to trail cables out through the door.
4. Access to walkways to/from Union North & Ramps to Union South must not be blocked, because these form part of emergency exit routes.
5. If music is played, volume must be kept at a reasonable level so as not to disrupt the running of the Students’ Union or disturb diners in Xanana Restaurant.
