Society Presidents' Meetings |
 |
 |
Presidents’ Meetings are a chance for society presidents to raise issues and chat to other society exec members in their category. All society presidents should attend the meeting for their society’s group and can bring along other exec members.
This is a chance for two-way conversation - we want to hear what you think.
Terms 1 & 2 Meetings - 07/8
The meetings in Terms 1 and 2 were really productive, with many issues raised and things that I am now working on! A report on both meetings has been completed, and can be found below.
Term 1 Discussions
Term 2 Discussions
If you have any reaction or comments on any of these, please do email them to the
Societies Officer.
General Info
Presidents' meetings happen once a term and attendance is compulsory for society presidents. The meetings are led by members of the Societies Federation Committee and the principal aim is to hear from you about anything that you want to say!
More specifically, they are a chance:
- For presidents and other exec members to discuss issues, both with Societies Federation Committee members and with each other
- To hear about and discuss relevant issues raised by the Societies Officer
- To share advice and ideas, and perhaps collaborate
- To discuss strategic development of societies in light of the Union South Redevelopment
These meetings are only useful if all societies attend. There will be fines for poor attendance without apologies. |
