Our aims:

Our aims are to encourage political discussion and participation amongst students of all political persuasions and to act as a social hub for all those who are interested in politics.

 

Our activities:

We liase with other societies and arrange guest lecturers as well as running our own 'Question Time' events with representatives from a number of different societies on campus. We also run trips, including a visit to Parliament, and publish a magazine called 'Perspectives'.

 

We're not all about academics though; we organise a number of socials including our annual 'Pub Golf' in the second week of term.

 

Upcoming Events: 

Friday 03/01/12: Cross Society Social

WTT are organising a cross society social. We're meeting for dinner at the Duck at 7:30pm, moving to the Terrace Bar for Drinks at 9pm, and then making our way to Top B at 10:45 to make use of the £1 entry for societies before 11pm.

Monday 06/01/12: Politics Salsa! - being rearranged.

We are pushing the boundaries of joint socials by bringing you a beginners lesson in Salsa on Monday of Week 5 in the Copper Rooms at 19:00! All for just £1!

Wednesday 08/02/12: Warwick Question Time

This years third installment of the ever popular WQT. Starts at 18:00, location tbc.

Wednesday 07/03/12: PolSoc Exec Elections

Your chance to stand for a position on the exec starting in term 3.
