Phy Soc

The Physics Society would like to welcome back all returning students and say a huge 'how do you do' to all you freshers.

Become a member of PhySoc today to enjoy subsidised trips to places such as CERN, Leicester Space Centre, JET, Diamond Light Source, Alton Towers and more. To join will cost a measly sum of £3 and you can do it right now by clicking here. You will need to have registered an account with the societies federation first.

PHYSOC's primary aim is to make it easier for you get to know more people on your course and to create a better social atmosphere within the department. Also, our links with other societies will enable you to meet others from different disciplines.

The Society is now affiliated with NEXUS, the student body of the Institute of Physics. Stay tuned for more Physics related things, and possible socials with other societies. In addition, PhySoc has been negotiating with the Department and the IOP, and the Institute is now offering free student IOP memberships to all undergraduates in the Department (THAT MEANS YOU!).
