Opera Warwick

OperaWarwick is a society for all those who love opera or are looking for performance and creative production experience at Warwick. We are arguably the most innovative student opera society in the country and are doing more than most professional companies to bring opera right into the 21st Century.

We're going through an exciting time following the sell-out successes of the two Mozart masterpieces, The Magic Flute and The Marriage of Figaro in the Warwick Art Centre main theatre. With the student translated, completely updated production of Hansel & Gretel set for performance in January, we hope to continue this strong, professional reputation.

However, OpWa is not just for singers. We provide for instrumentalists, directors, producers, set designers, marketers, creative writers, technicians, and those who just like to watch a bit of opera, a fantastic opportunity to indulge their passion.
