At Warwick DrumSoc, we aim to create thrilling, interactive, experiences for anyone wanting to explore both formal and informal percussion. We offer members opportunities to perform formal pieces as part of the percussion ensemble, experience Caribbean tradition through steel pans and hone their skills on the Drum Kit.
Over the past few years, we've performed with many other Warwick SU societies and ensembles and organised socials for all members to come along to.
Welcome Week:
Monday 25th September 7pm - 9pm - Taster Steel Pans Ensemble rehearsal, Ensemble Room in the Arts Centre, open to all
Tuesday 26th September 7:30pm - 10pm AND Sunday 12pm - 1pm - Taster Percussion Ensemble rehearsal, Ensemble Room in the Arts Centre, open to all percussionists

Percussion Ensemble (Tuesdays 7:30pm - 10pm, Ensemble Room)
- Targeted at experienced orchestral percussionists
Steel Pan Ensemble (Mondays 7 - 9pm, Ensemble Room)
- Open to all members irrespective of skill level

Weekly group drum kit lessons (free of charge, excusive to members) in the Westwood Music Centre, contact chris.thomas@warwick.ac.uk to join.
- Taught by experienced drum kit players. Experienced members can sign up to become tutors.
- Targeted at beginners and intermediate level players.
