Dear All
Hi, my name is Jeeves, and I am the new president of Atomic for the 08/09 academic year. Atomic is an active and friendly student run-society involving the whole Chemistry department. Our goal is to forge stronger links inside the department between students and staff, as well as maintain our status as one of the most active and largest societies on campus. We do this by combining a healthy social life with some academic oriented events. And what's more to become a member of Atomic is free! However don't forget to register your membership!!!
Every term there are many Atomic events and socials, ranging from the Christmas curry to the ever-popular Leamington pub crawl. Other events include the spoof quiz- 'University Challenged', where academics pit their minds against the finest Atomic can offer. We also have many Atomic sports leagues such as: 5-a-side football, squash, badminton and 8 ball pool. The Atomic social calendar goes out with a bang at the Atomic Ball: a fantastic black-tie event that keeps getting better every year - this year shall be no exception.
