Welcome to WAS!

WAS is a student-run society, serving the needs of those interested in the accounting and finance profession. Our efforts are geared towards educating students about the multitude of opportunities in this sector, bridging the gap between students and firm representatives, and such other aspects that will enable a better preparation for a career in a professional services industry.

Our goals for this academic year (2011-2012) are –

• To organize skill sessions which will benefit the student community in preparing their applications.
• To organize networking events and drop-in sessions, which will help build connection between students and former interns and accounting professionals.
• To organize business games and an Inter-University Business case study competition.
• To introduce a system of mentorship program with the Warwick graduates in the accounting and finance industry.
