About Us

Warwick Think Tank is an independent, progressive, student-led think tank. Its aim is to empower students to engage actively in the policy-making process because we acknowledge that policy affects everyone and its effects are ubiquitous. The society can offer opportunities for those interested in journalism, finance and event organisation - all skills that look great on your CV.

This upcoming academic year, we will be focusing on the privatisation of education. Topics include:  British education as a commodity abroad, the pros and cons of private schools and academies. Email us if you are interested in writing an article for our journal which will be officially published at the end of the year and sent to the British Library, as our first journal was.

ippr@warwick offer all members:

- The opportunity to attend free exclusive ippr events which are invite-only. Previously, members have attended talks given by Nick Clegg, David Blunkett and Harriet Harman.

- The opportunity to apply to ippr's work experience programme.

- Free access to all ippr's online publications

and much more!
