Latest News

We've had a lot of new faces already on our website, but here is an official 'Welcome' to all those new to the society! Most of you will have found out if you're coming to Warwick now so if you are don't be afraid to get stuck in on the forums and introduce yourself if you're thinking of joining the society.

About Us

We aim to provide you with safe, friendly and sociable spaces in which you can meet other students during your time at University. We provide information, advice and support for those coming to terms with their sexuality through schemes and events like our befriending service and parenting scheme and coming out workshops.

We are able to offer a great deal of information on sexual health and safer sex, and provide free safer sex materials including condoms, flavoured condoms, and lubricant, dental dams and latex and non-latex gloves. These can be found in the Warwick Pride Pigeonhole, number 478, in the Student Activities room (upstairs in SUHQ).

We also campaign on various issues on behalf of the LGBTUA community both within the university and in the wider community. We raise awareness of the issues facing LGBTUA people and campaign for changes when we feel they are needed.

Of course, like most societies on campus, we do lots of socialising too! We run weekly coffee socials, organise weekly clubbing trips to Coventry or Birmingham, hold breakfast socials, run film screenings, Society meals, debates and talks. New for this year are the Campaign and Cake socials and also the LGBTUA Book and Film Group. There’s a bit of something for everyone, and we’d love to see you round!

To contact Warwick Pride you can email us at hello@warwickpride.org . Alternatively you can write to us at Warwick Pride, Pigeonhole 484, University of Warwick Students' Union, Union North Building, University of Warwick, Coventry, CV4 7AL.
