PRESIDENT: Nathan Wilson

Hey guys I’ll be the first to give you a little bit about myself.
As you probably know already I’m the sociology president for this year. I’m really enjoying the role and I’ve got to know a lot of the people in the society so far...... but not all of you!
There are still people I haven’t had a chance to meet yet and I hope to see more of you at socials and events . Likes: Sociology, UWMFC, Being president

VICE PRESIDENT: Yu Anami

Hello, I'm Yu and I'm the Vice President of this society.
I'm basically here to help Nathan, as well as take minutes at meetings.
I also do the admin stuff (like check emails - so if you have any questions I'll be the one you're talking to :)), as well as help other exec members if they need anything.< br/> This is my second year as a Sociology Society exec, and it's good fun! I hope to see you around at our events! :)

You're probably meant to find me passed out under a bush, maybe vomming outside a club..but you won't cos that's NOT what sociology socials do you to you!!! ..unless you want it to!,br /> So please get involved with socials this term, they're going to be fun, crazy, messy and the BEST around campus!

WELFARE OFFICERS: Rosie Cooke & Cassie Wilson

Hi guys!
For this academic year we will be your welfare officers.
We have both set up a mentoring scheme for all the new Sociology students with the aim to help them settle into the bubble that is Warwick.
The scheme is there to help with any problems or concerns that you may have, regarding academic or personal problems. You will all be given an older and possibly wiser 2nd or 3rd year Sociology student.
They will be in frequent contact with you throughout the year, primarily through email. BUT, you are not required to reply, they are just here if you need them.
We will also be present on 'drunken' Sociology socials to help with any sickness, passing out etc.
And when i mean 'we' i just mean Rosie.
Likes: Dance (CMD), DUBSTEP, travelling, baking, drinking. (we are literally the same person).

ACADEMIC OFFICER: Lisa Reinhardt

Hi, my name is Lisa and I am the academic officer of this year's exec.
I am responsible for the aspects that make this society an academic society.
This means organizing interesting talks and debates on relevant sociological topics for the student body to participate in.
I have also collaborated with the Warwick Student Cinema to screen and host a big film evening, with themes that can be found throughout sociology modules.

SPORTS OFFICER: Peter Foulger

Hi.
Being sports officer for the society I'd like to say you can find me in the gym or on the sports fields but that's not always the case, although next term I'm hoping to change that.
The role of sports officer has been incredibly fun and equally stressful organising teams and captaining the Sociology football team who (touch wood) are still unbeaten this academic year.
I also now work at Kelsey's Bar in Leamington so if you find yourself there feel free to say hi.
Likes: Capoeira, Driving, Cider, DnB and Dubstep.
