Welcome to Claycroft Hall Society - Get Involved!

Hall societies offer loads of opportunities:

• Interhall sports - whether you're into football, basketball, netball, pool, darts, or anything else!
• Organise your own trips - whether it's a day trip to Alton Towers or a weekend in Amsterdam
• Plan your own events - from balls and gigs to juggling lessons and barbeques
• Create a campus community! - Societies are a great way to meet people from all over the world with all sorts of interests.

Fancy being on your Hall Exec?

You can run for an exec position for the year and be one of the people making the decisions.

There are 4 exec positions in each hall:

• President - oversees running of the society
• Treasurer - looks after the money
• Social Sec - plans society trips and events from club nights in the copper rooms to trips abroad
• Sports Sec - organises teams for the inter-hall tournaments

You can nominate yourself now, until Tuesday of week 3 (18th October). Voting will take place online from Wednesday of week 3 to Friday of week 3 (19th – 21st October). Once elected, all execs will receive training and support from the Sabbatical Officers. You'll receive invitations to the training upon successful election.

Please note – successful Sports Secretaries will be required to attend a short (1/2 hour) briefing session on Sunday 23rd October, as the deadline for the E and Y leagues sign up is 9am on Monday 24th October.
