Warwick Belly Dance is one of the most exciting and unique societies available to join at Warwick. Probably more importantly, we are a loving and friendly community who welcome anyone and everyone (regardless of sex)! Joining Belly Dance really is- excuse the cliche- like joining a family, we all look out for each other, have incredibly fun socials (many involving lots of food), and work together to create spectacular shows that are like no other on campus. This year sees the beginning of our Love Your Belly campaign, in which we will use our awesome talent to raise money and awareness for some fantastic causes. 

So what exactly is belly dance? It is a beautiful art form steeped in thousands of years of tradition and stemming from a wide range of cultures. It provides a great way of keeping fit and building confidence. One of our aims this year is to try and erase any misconceptions of our dance and show people what it's truly about. It is a dance style to be admired and respected; a cultural, technical dance full of expression that we hope many people will come to truly appreciate!

This really is the year to get involved, we promise you a warm welcome and plenty of opportunities to dance, laugh and probably eat to your heart's content. Our campaign's called 'Love Your Belly' for a reason!
