The Marketplace is situated on the ground floor of the Students Union. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 through to 16:00, the Marketplace has a variety of stalls selling everything from food to books to clothes.
In the evenings, the Marketplace will play host to all the main events that take place in the Students Union and is serviced by Grumpys Johns bar and a separate bottle and shots bar. These events will usually extend up into the Cholo area with the Cholo bar open and another separate bottle bar.
There are two bottle bars in the Students Union, one situated in the Marketplace and the other in Cholo, they are open for all major events within the sited area offering quicker, more efficient service of bottles and shots!
