Societies - Freshers Helpers

It can be a nerve wracking experience coming to University for the first time, as many of you will remember! That’s why the Union enlists the help of hundreds of volunteers each year to make sure that Freshers and their families receive a friendly and helpful Warwick welcome to campus from people who understand their concerns and can answer their questions.
If you think you’ve got what it takes to help out over Freshers fortnight, i.e. You can spare enough time to commit to 4 shifts of up to 4 hours each over the first two weeks of term, you understand all about the Union, Halls of Residence and campus life and you have a friendly personality, we want you to help us!
It will be hard work, require commitment and reliability but most of all it will be fun and you will get to meet loads of new people. In return you will be supplied with training, a T- Shirt and shifts. To say thank you for all your help and for completing your 4 shifts, we will take you away for a free full day of Paintballing just for Freshers Helpers with lunch and transport included. (The free Paintballing experience will only be available to those who complete 4 x 4 hour shifts and present a fully sanctioned rota sheet to the Marketing Department). Click here to find out more about your free Paintballing experience.
You must be available to start training on Friday 2nd October and be free for the remaining two weeks to do shifts as required. So have a chat to your friends and get them involved to put something back and make a real difference to the lives of new students. Places available on a first come first served basis.
