Welcome to the Animal Rights and Vegetarian Society webpage! This society welcomes all - vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores. If you are interested in learning more, campaigning on issues you care about, and meeting others who share your views, then come along to the Fresher's Fair on Monday to say hello (10 - 4). The society is very open - what we do will depend on our membership. However, in the last year we've had a particular focus on the environment, one which I hope we will continue. This year expect to see talks, films, workshops and lots of eating! * Also - if you are interested in vegetarianism or veganism but don't know where to start - come along and say hi. We are planning on starting a veggie buddy system. We will pair you up with someone who is already vegetarian and vegan and they will give you support and also do some cooking with you.
