Rate

£7.20 per hour with a 10 week probationary period

Hours

You will be expected to work an average of 2 shifts a week (an average of 10-12 hours a week) throughout term time; you have to be available to work 8 out of the 10 Wednesday nights in terms 1 & 2, please read on for more details

Interview

An Assessment Centre will be held on Tuesday 14th June 2016 from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. You must be available to attend this assessment for the full time if you are short listed.

Details

You will be expected to work an average of 2 shifts a week (average of 10-12 hours a week) throughout term time, however we cannot guarantee these hours; you have to be available to work 8 out of the 10 Wednesday nights (shifts usually 18:30-2:15) throughout terms 1 and term 2, and then usually a Friday or Saturday night (shifts usually 21:30-2:15). Shifts in the Terrace bar are available throughout the week between 11:30am to 3:00am, but are mostly evenings. 

Please note: these positions are for the Academic year 2016/2017, but you must be available for shifts from Week 9 onwards, to enable you to gain experience in the position and ensure you are fully trained ready for the start of the next academic year.

You will be working in either The Terrace Bar which is a stylish bar with a retro touch, with great DJ sets throughout the week OR, The Copper Rooms Venues, which have been designed with live music at the forefront.

You will be required to provide a high standard of service to customers, serve drinks and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
