Salary

Approx Salary £10,125 per annum (pro rata of £18,476).

Hours

20 hours per week working Monday to Friday (Hours to be agreed). Annualised hours of 900 per annum with a 16 week probationary period.

Interview

As part of a dynamic and driven Marketing Department, you must be able to work under pressure and as part of a committed team. Given the importance of the SU website as a communication tool, the role of Web Design Assistant is crucial in offering support to the Web Developer & Designer in the creative development and maintenance of this site. With over 70 sports clubs and over 240 societies to support there is a constant demand for websites and development and this role will be busy, diverse and challenging.

You must have worked in a similar role and be experienced in using a number of web languages: javascript, compliant HTML and CSS including knowledge of cross browser support/compatibility and you will be a competent user of Adobe, Photoshop and Fireworks. You must have a confident outgoing personality, be a good time manager and you must be reliable.
