ACADEMIC REPRESENTATION COORDINATOR
Hours: Part time – 25.5 hours per week. Some weekend and evening working may be required from time to time for special events
Starting Salary: Pro rata of £18,114 per annum
Benefits: Pro rata of 20 days holiday and no less than 15 days pro rata for Christmas, New Year, Easter, May-Day, Spring and late Bank holidays (or days in lieu thereof), Contributory Pension Scheme
Warwick SU are looking for a key addition to its team within Membership Services
You will help support and coordinate the Student Staff Liaison Committees (SSLC) system, particularly elections and meetings. You will develop productive relationships with academic departments in order to improve the SSLC system and to work closely with the Education Officer, Postgraduate Officer and other academic representatives to ensure student voice is heard.
You will be a point of contact for the SSLCs – contact them on behalf of other departments, organise termly contact sessions & assist with the development & delivery of training. Maintaining links with Faculty Representatives & supporting them in their work with SSLCs.

In order to succeed, you must possess strong administrative skills and expertise and have experience of working with students and / or young people. You must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. Knowledge and experience of working in Higher Education is essential
