Food & Beverage Team Leader - The Dirty Duck (Open to Existing SU Staff Only)

£7.95 per hour with a 10 week probationary period.


Please note, you must be available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week (2 shifts) during term time. This includes working any shifts (daytime or evening) on a Tuesday and Wednesday and any daytime shifts on Thursdays or Fridays.


Interviews will be held on Thursday 18th October 2012 between 10am and 1pm. You must be able to attend an interview on this date.


Please note this position is only open to applications from existing SU staff

 You will be required to work in the Dirty Duck, which has been designed to serve high volumes of both food and drink, with great customer care and a relaxed environment, we also offer live music on a weekly basis with our resident Acoustic night Un-Plucked

 Your role will be:

  • To assist in leading a successful team in the food and beverage department
  • To work closely with supervisors to run an efficient shift
  • To provide a high standard of service to customers, serve drinks and maintain a safe and clean working environment.

 You should have: -

  • High standards of customer care
  • Experience of a customer facing / food and beverage environment
  • Experience in training and motivating staff
  • Working knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene practices
  • Experience in cash handling
