Salary

Starting salary £17,757 per annum.

Hours

An average of 36.5 hours per week, all year round, subject to a 16 week probationary period. The majority of the hours will be during term time with particulary busy months in October, February and June. Weekend and Evening working are required.

Weekend and evening working are required as an integral part of the post.  The majority of hours will be worked during term time with particularly busy months in October, February and June.  Hours may need to be worked in vacation if there is conference business.  This post may involve working bank holidays and could include Christmas Day.

Warwick SU are looking for a key addition to its team of committed production crew.

You will be passionate about the live music industry, happy to deal with professionals, clubs, societies and volunteers with the same approachable can-do attitude.

You should possess experience of operating lighting, sound or AV in a venue, or for outside events.  You must be hard working with a good knowledge of electrical safety. You will be responsible for a variety of events including live music, DJ sets, comedy, theatrical productions and outdoor festivals and be confident in the set up and operation of technical systems.  You will assist with the maintenance of technical equipment and stage manage live events.

You must have excellent planning and organisational skills and have high standards of customer care.  You should thrive in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure.  You will supervise a student staff team and must be able to delegate, motivate and train the staff effectively.
