Salary

£27,469.00 - £32,770.00 The salary is per annum pro rata

Hours

Part time 4 days per week (0.8FTE). Some weekend and evening working may be required from time to time for special events and for peak weeks there may be a requirement to work 5 days at times. Time off in lieu will be granted

Warwick SU is looking for a key addition to its staff team following an exciting review of its membership services portfolio.

 

You will provide training and development activity that supports students involved in club and society activity and that enhances the skills of elected officers, committee members and volunteers. You will ensure that all development activity maximises the employability of the students involved.

 

You will be the lead staff member of development focused on student enterprise and an interest in this area is vital.

 

The Students’ Union is committed to ensure high quality involvement experiences for students in higher education and this role will be crucial in supporting this.

 

In order to succeed, you must be a skilled and experienced training and development professional with a good knowledge of the HE sector and of graduate employability initiatives. You will have experience of supporting volunteers. You must also possess excellent planning skills and be a strong people manager. 

 

If the prospect of working in a democratic, student focused environment has caught your imagination and you have a desire to support the development of students involved in extra-curricular activity – then this post could be the most exciting opportunity for you
