Welcome to the international section of the Union. Here you’ll find out about the exciting cultural quarter of campus. We have over 120 nationalities and 3500 overseas students at Warwick, but all our 16 000 students are becoming increasingly international. Your time here provides a range of opportunities to experience other cultures. There’s a thriving international community right on your doorstep. Heidi, International Committee Chair

I’m Heidi, and as International Committee Chair, it’s my job to listen to international students, act in their interests and encourage inter-cultural interaction. Integrating home and overseas students into our international campus is what our Union is here for. Feel free to stop me any time you see me and have a chat about this.

For Overseas Students

 

We really value the contribution that international students make to the community here, and the diversity they bring to campus. We’d love you to get involved with the Union, through our societies, sports, festivals or democracy. The more you put in, the more you’ll get out, and the better we’ll become as an organisation!

 

For Home Students

 

Chances are, you’ll be thinking about taking a year abroad, travelling during your summer, or volunteering internationally. If you are, try and meet overseas students from the region you’re thinking about!

 

For Both

 

The unique thing about this campus is the cosmopolitan atmosphere, buzzing with different cultures. Go towards each other; meet new people with different experiences! You can have a major impact during your time here, and help make Warwick fully integrated. It all starts by getting involved in the Union!
