The University decided to remove all Student Car Parking Permits in summer 2009. The University has acknowledged that there will be some of you for whom it is essential to have a car on campus for society and club reasons. There are therefore a limited number of society car park permits on offer to students on society and club execs, however only if their need is essential.

Criteria

On Campus Residents

An essential need to have a car on campus either to:

• Help run your society or club eg. to transport a lot of kit regularly
• Train and compete at a regional or national level off campus
• There is a lack of an alternative form of viable transport eg. bus, train or car share

Off Campus Residents

An essential need to drive a car on campus either to:

• Help run your society or club
• To train for your society or club
• There is a lack of an alternative form of viable transport eg. bus, train or car share
